Freehold · The fine print
The short version: an assistant answers questions on this site, and it keeps nothing.
The assistant on this site
The chat in the corner is an agent. It answers questions about Freehold from a fixed set of notes we wrote ourselves. It is there so you can get a straight answer at nine on a Sunday night without waiting for a reply.
What it does not do
It holds none of your data. There is no account behind it, no profile, and no tracking. It does not know who you are, and your conversation is not saved anywhere once you close the chat.
It cannot change anything. It answers questions. It does not send email, store what you type, or act on anything for you.
It will say when it does not know. Anything it cannot answer belongs in an email to us, and it will tell you so rather than guess.
The wider studio
Freehold uses modern tools, including agents, in how the studio runs. That is part of how a small studio can build full websites for a one-off fee with nothing monthly. Everything we publish about an organisation comes from what they already publish themselves, and the studio checks every site before it goes anywhere.
If you would rather not use it
Nothing on this site needs the assistant. Every question it can answer, email answers too: studio@freehold.org.nz. That includes anything about privacy, your information, or this page.
